Quinshon Judkins

Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio State

Junior

 6’0 feet Tall

219 LBs

Pros

Judkins has the prototypical build for a running back at the NFL level\

He’s a Physical runner that runs hard he's great in yards after contact he doesn’t lose momentum when contacted always falls forward and he's good at pushing piles

He possesses strong contact balance he doesn’t get tripped up by arm tackles and weak attempts to bring him down

He possesses a nasty stiff arm probably the best I’ve seen through the process so far

He has Exceptional burst and acceleration that allows him to hit holes with good speed and it enables him to turn small creases into big gains

He has great vision and patience he understands how to set up his blocks and work off what the guys up front are giving him

He runs with a good center of gravity and runs with good pad level

Has good hands when swinging or leaking out of the backfield and he does a good job in creating yards after the catch if he does make the catch

He Has good short area quickness and he has quick feet that help him make defenders miss in tight areas

He possesses ok long speed he definitely isn’t a true burner, but he has respectable enough long speed to pop big runs here and there when he does get into the open field

Cons

He’s a good respectable receiver out of the backfield just not an elite one he doesn’t have a big route tree as a running back he won't really line up anywhere in a receiving capacity other than in the backfield behind or beside the Quarterback but it’s something he can work on to continue to enhance his game potentially

Sometimes he can rely to much on his physicality and he can miss some opportunities in the open field to create bigger plays because of it

Ball security can be a little bit of an issue it’s not a glaring problem but it is something he needs to secure and work on

For a bigger guy he needs to do better in pass protection he’s not horrible here he’s a willing blocker but needs to refine his technique a bit and add that to his game as well

Overall Analysis

Judkins is one of the few running backs I’ve seen that can profile to be a true effective 3 down running back at the NFL level that’s what we’re looking for when picking these guys for our dynasty team to maximize point potential

He has enough versatility in his game he can find different ways to win at the next level which will help to produce fantasy points and that's why I like him so much

He’s a rare combination of power, elusiveness and he has just enough top end speed that can make him a highly effective back at the next level

He’s someone I think that will be a riser I think he’s worthy of being a 1st round dynasty rookie pick easily to me and I’ll Be taking him when I can in my rookie drafts personally

We will see what kind of draft capital he will get in the NFL draft I’m guessing 2nd round for sure day 2 slam dunk I could even see late 1st round potentially

But for now, he’s my rookie RB 2 behind Ashton Jeanty
